This double lane boat ramp is accessible from half tide up from the end of Banksia Road. There is a bank launch nearby at Porters Creek for small boats and 4WD.

It is about 8nm from the entrance of Thirsty Sound to Charon Point, travelling across Broad Sound. Charon Point sits between Styx and Herbert Rivers. Please note- the trip is not recommended for small boats nor on big tides.

Stanage has up to 7.5m of tidal movement (subtract about 30 minutes
