Where to go fishing near Waigen Lake?
- Little Bay Heading north a four wheel drive track leads to Little Bay. The protected bay is a good place to launch a small boat. The beach fishing here can also be good for Mulloway and Tailor.
- Horrocks Beach Around town, casting poppers and metal slugs over the reef holes can be effective for small Tailor, it is best fished at dawn and dusk. A light sea breeze also helps to attract the tailor closer to shore. Small whiting can be taken in shallow waters on poppers and small hard body lures.
