Tarwhine are often confused with Bream however they are a completely different fish species.
Tarwhine grow over 40cm in length and can reach weights of over 2 kg
Tarwhine are found around reefs, beaches, estuaries and rivers and will be found in schools.
Tarwhine are considered easy to catch and will go for all sorts of baits and will take lures. For their weight they can put up a great fight.
